Jim Chappell Joins Pathloom's Advisory Team!
With more than 30 years of experience in the high tech industry in CEO, COO, Sales & Marketing Executive positions, Jim has built a reputation as someone who effectively combines big picture thinking with the knowledge of the internal workings of an organization and the drive to make things happen.
Jim has “been there and done that” in scaling companies, most notably at Legato Systems where he grew from Product Manager to SVP of Business Planning & Development as the company grew from $1M to over $250M in revenue when it was acquired by EMC for $1.2B in 2004. Jim then built the sales, services and support functions for Centrify as it moved from a startup to an established identity management leader and its move into Thoma Bravo’s portfolio.
Over the past 10 years, Jim has brought his entrepreneurial skills and expertise to many early-stage businesses, mentoring programs and as an investor in early-stage funds. Jim also shares his passion for innovation with future generations through his work on Cal Poly's Industry Advisory Board and as a judge for the Hult Prize competition.
Jim’s broad experience across SaaS, IoT and other mainstream technologies will help the Pathloom team accelerate their go-to-market and open doors to partnerships and people. While Jim’s favorite “trails” go from the 1st tee to the 18th green, he’s walking the course as often as possible and welcomes the chance to become a user of Pathloom to explore his new home in the Southeastern US.
